What will you learn?
Our Phlebotomy course teaches the essentials of a phlebotomist. A phlebotomist is an important member of the healthcare team, they draw blood from patients for clinical or medical testing, transfusions, donations, or research. Phlebotomists work closely with patients and other healthcare professionals. This is an entry-level medical career that is often considered a step toward more complex jobs like nursing assistants. At the end of our 5-week program which consist of 20 classroom hours and 5 clinical hours. You will be qualified to work in various settings – Outpatient laboratories (Quest or Labcorp) hospital laboratories, and mobile laboratories. - You will qualify to take a national exam. - We are accredited with the AMCA (American Medical Certification Association). Your certification will be valid for 2 years. - You will be able to work in any state in the country. - We offer payment arrangements so that every class is affordable. - We offer classes every six weeks. -We are an equal opportunity Employer/ Program and all auxiliary aids and service are available upon request to individuals with disabilities
